Questions, answered
Is IPL suitable for my skin tone and hair colour?
IPL works by targeting the pigment in the hair, so it is most effective on darker hair with lighter to medium skin tones. It is not suitable for very dark skin tones, or for white, grey, red or very light blonde hair. Each product page has a suitability chart so you can check before you buy.
How quickly will I see results?
Hair grows in cycles, so results build with regular sessions. Most people notice finer, slower regrowth within a few weeks and a clearer difference around weeks 6 to 8, then occasional top-ups keep it that way. Everyone's hair and skin are different, so we do not promise a fixed timeline.
Which styling tool should I pick?
Air if you want a light, compact dryer. Shape if you want to dry and style in one sitting. Smooth if you want a cordless fix for frizz between washes.
Is it safe to use at home?
Every Aurvie IPL device ships with protective glasses, and the user guide explains how to find the right energy level for you. Do not use on tattoos, moles, broken skin or sunburn, and do not use during pregnancy. Always read the guide before your first session.
What comes in the box?
The full list is on every product page. IPL devices come with a power adapter and protective glasses; Glow Pro and Glow Ice add a razor. Smooth charges by USB-C and comes with two section clips and a tail comb. Air comes with its concentrator nozzle.
What are your shipping and returns terms?
Delivery is free and tracked on every order. You have 90 days from delivery to send a device back for a full refund, even if you have used it (you cover the return postage), and every device carries a two-year warranty against manufacturing faults.
Important information
Aurvie IPL devices are cosmetic hair-reduction tools, not medical devices. If you have a skin condition, take medication that increases sensitivity to light, or are pregnant, speak to your doctor before use.
